An integrated LED can be used to display select Sigma lens compatibility with the adapted camera body, and the adapter also has pre-loaded lens data to support peripheral illumination, chromatic aberration, and distortion corrective functions. In order to maintain the best image quality, the interior of the adapter is flocked to reduce reflections. The MC21 retains full EXIF data and a removable tripod mount is included. The converter allows more freedom of choice for L-Mount cameras from SIGMA, Leica Camera and Panasonic, enhancing the extensibility of the L-Mount system. Attaching the MC-21 to SIGMA’s CANON EF mount compatible lenses* allows them to be used as L-Mount system lenses, promoting the effective use of valuable lenses on different mount systems.
