This is a 1 TB Solid State Drive from Samsung, which Convergent Design has approved for use with its Odyssey Monitor/Recorders as a qualified 3rd party SSD. These are media that Convergent has extensively tested and found to match its performance requirements. They can be used for any of the recording formats compatible with the Odyssey. The SSD is featuring the 3D V‐NAND technology with TurboWrite for improved performance - this will allow a better user experience and faster random write speeds. The drive also comes equipped with various power‐saving functionality. This is in part due to its use of the above mentioned 3D V‐NAND, which consumes half the power of Planar 2D NAND-based SSDs.
