DO NOT BOOK. THIS GUY IS A SCAM ARTIST. Called him on the morning asking if the drop-off at 12:30 was still going ahead. He then told me he would come at 14:00. I said "no, please can we stick to the original time" (as our event started at 15:00 and we needed to set up) which he said was fine. He then messaged me one hour later saying: "Hey I m really sorry I m in hospital they ll relies me at 1pm. I just cancel ur order u ll get money back". This guy is a scam artist. He completely screwed us over, 3 hours before our event, and left us without speakers. I still don't have the refund and after he sent me that message he then ignored all of my calls. We then had to, last minute, book from London Speaker Rentals - at a massively increased price!!

Extremely slow replies, leaves equipment at your house for an extra week.

Gulak has good equipment and is a nice enough person, however his communication and organisation is dreadfully poor. I hired some speakers for NYE and once I confirmed the booking he didn't reply for 3 days to confirm the drop off time. Feeling quite panicked through hearing nothing from him, I contacted Fat Lama and he finally responded on the morning of NYE to confirm drop off, which was just before I was about to make another last minute booking with someone else. The kit was delivered, all working ok apart from a screw missing from a tripod which could be dealt with fortunately. We arranged for him to pick up on the Monday after NYE but he failed to do so and communicate when would be a preferred time. The owners of the property (where the speakers were held) spent a week trying to communicate with him and nail down a time for him to pick up and found the whole process frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. He finally picked up 8 days after he initially agreed to. All in all, I couldn't in good faith rely on him again purely down to poor communication and organisation, which is shame.
